He really is a joy to have around our home, full of spirit and very exuberant & we love him dearly. He is a very special boy, such a character and very set in his ways.
He was born on 2nd April, 1997 at Birkhill Kennels - home of the Rancecraig Cocker Spaniels. Elizabeth Craig is now one of my very closest friends since the day she introduced me to Oliver.
Oliver is siring quality puppies - blues, oranges & livers and he is at stud to approved bitches.
Oliver had a great day on 8th September 2001 as he went Reserve Best in Show at the East of Scotland Cocker Spaniel Club's show under Judge Mrs C Coode.

Oliver is now in veteran! How time flies, he has done very well so far at all the championship shows attended:

1st Veteran Dog - Blackpool (26th June) - Mr Glynn Griffiths
Smiths Rancecraig Pick Pocket . Upstanding blue 7 years young. Shown in firm condition. Nice bone and ribcage. Short body. Good level back, moved well.

What a day!

Oliver gained his first Challenge Certificate at aged 9!

B/r, mature dog of excellent type, in super coat and condition belying his 9 years, excellent construction and well proportioned all through, so sound in movement and a picture moving in profile with a good ground covering stride, his tail wagging merrily (which was noticeably absent in many others). Considered for top honours but he won the day on his real “cockery” attitude and movement. CC
